Lemur Music offers carved wood basses in a wide range of prices. Why so much variety? Because basses are priced according to the quality of materials, artistry of design, maker’s reputation, sounding properties, vintage, and historic provenance.
We choose carefully from a full array of makers to find the best value at each price point. Sometimes that means we offer some, but not all the models a bass maker produces. And sometimes it means we only get one or two pieces a year from a very well-known maker.
