The Sunrise Venice bass is a 5/8 size instrument that boasts a full sound, yet has a smaller upper bout and a shorter string length.

This bass is a much needed offering for bassists of smaller stature who have progressed beyond their student instrument. It is also great for an aspiring solo performer, or a jazz professional needing maximum access to the upper register.

The materials are outstanding including beautifully flamed solid maple back, sides, and neck, as well as boldly grained spruce for the top. Uncompromising attention is paid to the hand rubbed oil varnish finish, which is various shades of dark brown.
