Description
Bass solos excerpted from the several symphonies that feature bass, i.e. No. 6 “Le Matin,” No. 7 “Le Midi,” No. 8 “Le Soir,” No. 31 “Mit dem Hornsignal,” and No. 72. The piano part is a reduction of the supporting orchestra score. Highest pitch is A just above the halfway harmonic on the open G string. Mostly in bass clef, but there is some use of tenor clef.
